New president, CEO named to Falcons Landing

The Falcons Landing board of directors has appointed Jon Garber as its president and CEO, effective May 16.

Prior to taking over as the CEO following a national search, Garber served as the nonprofit’s chief operating officer and interim president.

He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to the position, including “operational management, strategic planning and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences,” according to a press release.

Design firm Lawrence Group hires head of finance

Lawrence Group has welcomed Susan Garvey as its new head of finance and accounting.

In her new role, Garvey will oversee the firm’s finance and accounting operations, helping guide strategic financial planning in support of the firm’s continued expansion and long-term success, according to a press release.

She brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, and has a “strong track record of aligning financial strategy with organizational goals to support sustainable growth, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.”

Lifespace promotes regional vice president of operations

Lifespace Communities announced Rob Salierno has been promoted to regional vice president of operations in the north region.

In this role, he will report to Andy Kazmierczak, Lifespace’s chief operating officer, and “lead daily operations for the region’s seven communities in five states, partnering with executive directors and community team members to advance meaningful team member engagement, exceptional resident experiences and strong financial outcomes,” a press release states.

Salierno brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, including multiple executive director roles at Lifespace, as well as leadership positions with other continuing care retirement communities, according to the release. 

RUI promotes VP of marketing

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. has promoted Danielle Hagenseker to vice president of brand, marketing and public relations.

In her role, she will oversee the company’s marketing operations while “elevating the stories of the residents who remain at the heart of the organization’s mission,” a press release states.

She brings more than 10 years of experience to the position and has a “proven track record of developing innovative solutions and leading successful, brand-driven marketing campaigns.”

Epoch Senior Living has appointed John Dulina as the new executive director of Bridges by Epoch at Westwood.

In his role, Dulina is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community.

Dulina brings “extensive experience” to the position, according to a press release, and most recently served as executive director at two Massachusetts senior living communities.

Lantern Hill names associate executive director

Lantern Hill, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, has named Tyler Kypers as its associate executive director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tyler to the Lantern Hill team,” Executive Director Todd DeLaney said in a press release. “Tyler is a highly relational leader who is deeply driven to make a difference and fully embraces our mission, vision and values.”

Kypers most recently served as associate executive director at Woodleigh Chase, an Erickson Senior Living community in Fairfax, Virginia.
